Healthy Skin, Natural Products

healthy skin

Did you know our skin is the biggest organ of our bodies? It’s also our armor from the outside world. Our skin is amazing and we should be taking really good care of it.

The West Clinic has some truly amazing products for healthy skin (Lotions, Oils and Ointments). Today I want to share some of my favorite things I have used to keep my skin healthy.

  1. USF Ointment: this ointment is made up of unsaturated fatty acids and it’s incredible for healing and hydrating the skin. I used it for my baby’s eczema rash and it was completely gone in just 2 days! Everyone should have a tube of this in their medicine cabinet
  2. EDAP Cream: This stuff will make your skin incredibly soft and healthy from the outside in. It has helped heal acne and breakouts on my face. It keeps my skin glowing and healthy looking and helps with dry, itchy skin. It contains vitamin E, D, A and P, all of which are extremely good for skin conditions. This cream is absorbed directly into the skin. It can also be used for people who have a hard time taking or absorbing vitamins through their stomach.
  3. Glowing Vitality Lemon Grass and Lavender Oil: I used this product to prevent stretch marks during pregnancy, but there are tons of other uses for it too. It is a blend of healthy oils that’s great for nourishing the skin. It literally makes you glow.
  4. Glenalgesic: Now this isn’t necessarily for your skin, but you rub it on your skin to alleviate aches and pains. Sore joints, back pain, strained muscles, it works on anything that hurts. I even used it during labor and it made a huge difference.

Another natural remedy I have found, that is great for the skin, is oatmeal baths. Grind up 2 cups of oats in your blender or food processor, then just dump in a tub of hot water (I like to put it in a mesh bag for easier clean up). The oatmeal powder makes an oat milk in the bath that works miracles on your skin. It’s great for rashes, dry itchy skin, and eczema.

The last thing I want to say about healthy skin is you are what you consume. Drinking a lot of water, eating healthy foods (avoiding sugar) and faithfully taking your supplements is the best way to keep your skin healthy and glowing.

I am so glad my eyes are opened to natural medicine and I have learned about these amazing products.

Till Next Time,

Maicie
