Cilantro Ginger Baked Tilapia Recipe

Tilapia is high in B12 and Omega 6 essential fatty acids. It is also low in calories, carbohydrates, and sodium making it a healthy addition to any meal.


  • 1 lb. Tilapia Fillets
  • Ground Pepper to taste 
  • 3 Cloves of Garlic, peeled and mashed 
  • 1 tbsp. grated fresh Ginger 
  • 1 Jalapeno, seeded and chopped 
  • 1/3 cup chopped Cilantro Leaves 
  • 1 Lemon, juiced 
  • 2 tbsp. low sodium Soy Sauce 
  • 1 tsp. Sesame Oil 



  • Heat oven to 450 degrees F
  • Season fillets with ground pepper, and lay flat in a 9X9 glass baking dish 
  • In a blender, combine garlic, ginger, jalapeno, cilantro, lemon juice, soy sauce, and sesame oil
  • Pour over fillets 
  • Bake fillets for about 30 minutes or until flaky
  • Garnish with lemon slices and fresh cilantro leaves
