Spicy Shrimp & Avocado Lettuce Wraps

Avocado Shrimp Lettuce Wraps

Add a little spice to your life with this delicious (and spicy) recipe for Shrimp & Avocado Lettuce Wraps. 

Ingredients: 

Spicy Shrimp Ingredients 

  • 15-20 Shrimp, peeled and deveined 
  • 1/2 tsp. Paprika 
  • 1/2 tsp. Cumin 
  • 1/2 tsp. Hot Chili Powder
  • 1/2 tsp. Ground Pepper 
  • 1/2 tbsp. Olive Oil 
  • 1/2 Lime Juice 
  • 1/2 cup Baby Arugula 
  • 1 cup Grape Tomatoes, sliced in half
  • 1/4 cup Red Onion, chopped
  • 1/2 Avocado, diced
  • 1 head Romaine Lettuce (leave whole) 

Jalapeno Avocado Sauce Ingredients: 

  • 1 Avacado 
  • 1 Clove Garlic
  • 1 Jalapeno, seeded and chopped 
  • 1/2 Lime, juiced 
  • 1 tbsp. Cilantro, chopped 

Directions: 

  1. In a large bowl combine shrimp, paprika, cumin, chili powder, and ground pepper. 
  2. In a skillet, saute shrimp in olive oil on medium heat for about 3 minutes (shrimp should turn pink) 
  3. Squeeze 1/2 Lime over top of shrimp while cooking 
  4. In a blender, combine all sauce ingredients and blend until smooth 
  5. On a large leaf of Romaine lettuce, place baby arugula, sauteed shrimp, red onion, avocado, diced tomatoes, and top with the jalapeno avocado sauce
  6. Serve immediately and ENJOY!
