Guacamole Turkey Patties

Guacamole Turkey Patties are low carb, loaded with flavor, and great if you need a quick dinner idea. 

Ingredients: 

Turkey Patties 

  • 2 lb. Lean Ground Turkey 
  • 3 tsp. Cinnamon 
  • 1 tsp. Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp, Ground Black Pepper 

Guacamole Spread 

  • 2 large Avocados, peeled and pitted 
  • 1 tsp. Garlic Powder 
  • 1/2 tsp. Ground Pepper 
  • 1 Jalapeno, seeded and finely chopped 
  • 1/2 Onion, chopped 
  • 1 Lime, juiced 

Directions: 

  1. In a large bowl, mix ground turkey, cinnamon, garlic powder, and ground pepper. Form into flat patties 
  2. Heat skillet or griddle to medium-high heat and cook patties for 7-9 minutes on each side or until they are cooked through. 
  3. In a medium bowl, combine avocado, garlic powder, ground pepper, chopped jalapeno, onions, and lime juice. 
  4. Mix ingredients to the consistency of your choice (chunky or smooth) 
  5. After the patties are cooked, spread guacamole over top of the patties. 
  6. A great option is to serve in a lettuce wrap
