Nutrition and Supplements

One of the most valuable things in life is your health and wellness. Good nutrition is the key. However, our food has lost it’s nutrients, and we are forced to take supplements to get those nutrients. But are all supplements created equal? SUPPLEMENTS— NOT ALL ARE CREATED EQUAL

The two-time Nobel Prize winner Linus Pauling said, “Every ailment, every sickness, and every disease can be traced to an organic mineral deficiency. People are not getting the proper organically complexed (carbon bound) trace minerals and nutrients to provide homeostasis (body balance) as nature intended.” We have known for over 60 years that the vitamin and mineral content that use to be in the soil—and in turn, in our food—is now gone. It has been replaced by potassium and nitrogen from fertilizers, and chemicals from pesticides. The agricultural industry argues the notion of widespread soil depletion. The food looks good and there is enough to

go around, so all is well. The truth is, our food is tasteless and has far less nutritional value than the same food that was consumed by our ancestors a century ago. This means is that we are becoming malnourished. In order to counter-balance this lack of nutrition, we must introduce vitamin supplements into our diets. However, not all supplements are created equal. The cheapest is not the best. In fact, they can be harmful. They are not something you would take with the thought of “having something is better than nothing.” In this case, nothing would be better You wouldn’t—or shouldn’t—consider using inferior oil in your car. Then why would you do the same with an inferior supplement into your body? Let’s do some comparisons.

Natural Vitamins You’ve most likely heard of natural and synthetic supplements, but what’s the difference? A natural supplement is one that has concentrated, nutrient-derived ingredients from a quality natural source. There should be no artificial color, sweeteners, or preservatives. If there are, then those supplements are considered to be synthetic. In all ways, natural is better than synthetic—except one: price. Synthetic supplements cost far less than natural ones. However, because synthetic supplements can be harmful, natural ones are well worth the extra cost. Organic Vitamins “Organic” has really become a household term. However, there are two types of “organic” when it comes to supplements. The “grocery store” type, and the “scientific” type. In the” grocery store” type, the supplements are made from whole-food derived ingredients minus the insecticides, pesticides, herbicides, and have the “organic” seal of approval on them. If in tablet form, these supplements tend to have a less-than-optimal absorption rate due to the technology used to press them into tablets. So good, but not the best.

Supplements—Not All Are Created Equal (cont.) and have the “organic” seal of approval on them. If in tablet form, these supplements tend to have a less-than-optimal absorption rate due to the technology used to press them into tablets. So good, but not the best. The “scientific” type, the supplements are still made from whole-food derived ingredients, but they are related or belonging to the class of chemical compounds having a living carbon basis. This means that these supplements are wrapped with a living carbon. They must be cold-processed to preserved the living matter in the product. They take the longest to manufacture, but the results are by far the best—with no known risks or side effects. As you may expect, natural organic supplements cost even more than natural, but the results far outweigh the extra cost. Questions To Ask Your Doctor Liposome encapsulated supplements are the best supplements currently available for optimal

bioavailability. In many situations, taking oral liposome encapsulated supplements has a better clinical impact than taking even larger doses intravenously. For acute illness and disease, intravenous infusion combined with oral liposome preparations can optimize clinical response. For daily supplementation, liposome encapsulated vitamin C is the optimal form. To find out more about Liposome Vitamin C, simply ask one of Dr. J’s assistance, and they will be able to help.

In our online store we only have quality supplement s available.  Here are a few things to consider when looking for a quality vitamin:

  1. Does the product contain any binders, fillers, coatings, excipients or flow agents? These are synthetic and possible harmful.
  2. Does the product contain preservatives? Potassium sorbate and sodium benzoate are potentially harmful/toxic.
  3. Is this product heat-processed? Heat can kill the living matter, important enzymes, co-factors, and nutrients.
  4. Are there minerals present? Minerals are the catalyst to the vitamins. You need more than 70 different minerals daily. Stay away from inorganic toxic minerals. Carbon-based organic minerals appear to be the safest and most effective.
  5. Does the product contain ascorbic acid? This is synthetic vitamin C.
  6. Does the product contain synthetic vitamin E? This sometimes is call dl-alpha-tocopherol, as opposed to d-alpha-tocopherol, which might be natural.
  7. Are there any artificial flavors, colors, additives, preservatives, synthetics, etc., in the product? Does it contain any wheat (gluten), corn, yeast, soy, dairy, nuts, animal products, etc?
  8. Is the product ultra-hypoallergenic (non-allergenic)? We must add supplements to our diets. Be sure you know what you’re getting.
